Myofascial Therapy

The integration of traditional therapy and other forms of holistic therapies to release dehydrated tissue. Creates space. Consists of prolonged stretches. Helps the body return to anatomical position.

It is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion.

Each treatment is performed directly on the skin without oils, creams, or machinery, enabling the therapist to accurately detect fascial restrictions and apply the appropriate amount of sustained pressure to facilitate release of the fascia.

Trauma, inflammatory responses, and/or surgical procedures create Myofascial restrictions that can produce tensile pressures of approximately 2,000 pounds per square inch on pain sensitive structures that do not show up in many of the standard tests.

Fascial restrictions can exert excessive pressure causing all kinds of symptoms producing pain, headaches, or even restriction of motion. Fascial restrictions affect our flexibility and stability, they are a determining factor in our ability to withstand stress and perform daily activities. Treatment can help alleviate these symptoms.

Medical:

Specific and targeted techniques are used to treat a variety of medical conditions.

Sports:

Timing, technique, and intent-specific application are performed through use of massage, range of motion/flexibility protocol and strength-training principles.

Cupping can be used in addition to increase blood flow to restricted areas.

Relaxation:

A smooth gentle flowing style of massage that promotes general relaxation, relieves muscular tension, while improving circulation and range of movement. Essential oils can be utilized to enhance your experience, soothe tension, and calm the mind.

Deep Tissue:

Deeper and more focused massage technique that utilizes firm pressure and slower strokes to massage deep layers of muscle and fascia (the connective tissue that surrounds all of your muscles).


Reiki

Reiki is a technique that promotes healing and helps induce relaxation. warm and soothing energy flows from the hands of the practitioner into the recipient releasing tension while calming the body, mind, and soul. It is not a religion, it has no dogma, it can benefit anyone no matter their personal beliefs!
